Cheap, good location
The location was close to the city center; the price was very reasonable.
I asked for a nonsmoking room, but I got a smoking room. I was too tired to ask for a change, but I hope other visitors notice this issue.

Basic accommodations, a little on the expensive side for what was offered
The hotel was at a good location, walking distance to 2 train stations servicing different lines. They offered free use of the neighbouring onsen/bathhouse which was rather basic but got the job done. The staff were extremely polite and professional, easily the best part of the stay there.
The Wi-Fi signal was good, but the speed was slow - video calls were basically impossible. Also, reconnecting to the network periodically was required. The rooms had a little of a dated feel to them, and loud noises made by people from the outside were heard clearly. It's not the hotel's fault, but something that potential guests should know.
